Too tired to smile. Too tired to eat.
Too tired to sleep. Too tired to get out of bed.
Too tired to walk. Too tired to have the energy to live.
Yet, she wasn’t too tired to ask for help
To pray to her Lord, The ever Hearing
Because if comfort would come, it would come only from Him
To give her the strength to deal with the demons in her head
To deal with the demons of the world
Too tired to deal with all of it on her own
So she called onto Him, the most Merciful.
